Railway Recruitment Boards

Railway Recruitment Boards are organizations under the Government of India that manage the appointment of new employees to work in Indian railways. There are 21 boards situated in different parts of the country. The Railway Recruitment Board has released the 1.3 lakhs vacancies this year for the post of NTPC, Para-Medical Staff, Material & Isolated Category and Level 1 post in Indian Railways. Also RRB NTPC Admit Card notification is expected to be released soon.

Which posts in Railways does one get a job in through this exam?

The best and preferred post comparatively from all the posts of Railway is RRB Commercial Apprentice. It is the supervisor post whose work is multi-skilled in different branches. So, the eligible candidates must try for this as the priority as a post-preference.

What are the vacancies, job type and salary offered?

The RRB has been revised the vacancy to 35,208 from 35,277 on April 20, 2019. Out of 1.3 Lakhs total Vacancy for various RRB Recruitments in the year 2019, NTPC released 10628 Undergraduate and 24649 Graduate Posts.

Pattern for RRB NTPC

The recruitment process involves CBT (Prelims) Stage 1, CBT (Mains) Stage 2, Typing Skill Test/Computer-Based Aptitude Test (as applicable) and Document Verification/Medical Examination.
